Never ceasing to amaze, this time around superstar designer Karl Lagerfeld turned the Parisian Grand Palais into a chic French brasserie, dubbed “The Brasserie Gabrielle”, as the exquisite backdrop for Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2015-16 fashion show. The Chanel show is always a highly anticipate one during any Paris Fashion Week, as the fashion house is known for the show’s settings (almost) as much as for it’s fashionable clothing. And this season was no different – the designs were definitely up to par, in line with the entire creative atmosphere – a mix ‘n’ match of classic Chanel plaids and patterns adorned tailored cuts, both long and short skirts, overcoats, wide leg pants, one-piece dresses, and one shoe to rule them all, a closed-toe mid-heel beige slingback. That’s Chanel for you, always with the classic touch. Bravo.
