Kenzo | Fall/Winter 2015-16 | Paris

Modern (futuristic even) asymmetric cuts and stripes, colors, and layered fabrics, were the obvious theme at the Kenzo Fall/Winter 2015-16 show during Paris Fashion Week. Not that this was any surprise. The French fashion house is known for its cutting edge designs, ever since young blood Humberto Leon & Carol Lim took over the reigns as creative directors, in 2011. Most of the looks this season had a sporty feel to them, and the main colors seen on the runway were greens, yellows and oranges. We saw ponchos, hoodies, shawls and long skirts, paired with hats and oversized bags. And did you notice that prints are back at Kenzo? (These were omitted from the two designers’ previous collection…)
